I'm an adjunct teaching Hamlet in Queens.: It's difficult enough getting a handle on the material, let alone standing up in front of a class and pretending to know what the [----] I'm talking about. Why did I assign it? Because I wanted a challenge. I thought it would be interesting teaching Hamlet. But holy frack is that Shakespearean language difficult to read. Hence, this blog, all things Hamlet, all the time. Will be trying to wrench some meaning from the play. (Oh and actually, I'm no longer an adjunct, but anyway....)

In Spring, 2011 will be using Dover Thrift Hamlets. Any line quoted on this site prior to that date came from the 2008 Modern Library Classics series edition edited by Jonathan Bate and Eric Rasmussen.
